NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) results this week for over 20 lakh candidates. The NEET UG result link will be hosted on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in 2023. Along with the NEET results 2023 for MBBS, BDS admission, the NTA will also upload the final answer key at nta.ac.in. The testing agency assured the parliamentary committee that it will announce the results by second week of June.

Once the NEET UG results 2023 are declared, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting the NEET UG counselling 2023 for 15% All India Quota and 85% state quota based on the ranks. Medical aspirants will be able to check the merit list in the second week of June, as per reports.
This year, the NEET UG exam was held on May 7 and the re-exam for some students who could not appear due to Manipur violence was held on June 6. As per reports, over 8,000 candidates appeared in the NEET re-exam.

As there is no official confirmation as to when NEET UG 2023 result will be declared, candidates who appeared for the UG medical entrance test are now asking, "NEET ka result kab aayega."
If a candidate indulges in any unfair means, he/she shall be deemed to have used unfair practices and booked under UNFAIR MEANS (U.F.M.) case. The candidate would be debarred for 3 years in the future and shall also be liable for criminal action and /or any other action as deemed fit.
There is no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of the NEET UG 2023 answer sheets.
Applicants who appeared for the medical entrance test on May 7 can download the NEET UG 2023 result when announced at the DigiLocker ap as well.
In order to be eligible for admission to undergraduate BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS programmes, it is necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at 50th percentile in NEET UG 2023.
The NEET official answer key 2023 has already been released. But for the NEET UG 2023 held on June 6 for the candidates affected by Manipur violence, the NEET UG 2023 answer key is not out yet.

In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks or percentile scores in the NEET UG 2023, the inter-se-merit shall be determined as follows:
a. Candidate obtaining higher marks or percentile score in biology (botany and zoology) in NEET UG 2023, followed by,
b. Candidate obtaining higher marks or percentile score in chemistry in the NEET 2023, followed by,
c. Candidate obtaining higher marks or percentile score in physics in the test, followed by,
d. Candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in NEET UG,
e. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in biology (botany and zoology) in NEET UG, followed by
f. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in chemistry in the test, followed by
g. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in physics in NEET UG 2023 exam
According to reports, the NEET UG 2023 result date is June 17.

NTA has not announced any NEET UG 2023 result date. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will likely declare the NEET UG 2023 in the second week of June.
The NEET closing rank for admission to BSc Nursing programme at North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College was 35,375 last year. The Medical Counselling Committee held two counselling rounds for AIQ seats.

NEET UG 2023 results are expected to be announced by June 17, as per media reports. However, there is no official confirmation on NEET UG result date 2023. This year's NEET exam concluded on June 6.
The National Medical Commission has asked all medical colleges to send the compliance report on anti-ragging regulations formed by the commission in 2021 by month-end. NMC observed that some colleges did not respond to the complaints and warned of action.

A total of 20,87,449 candidates appeared for NEET UG 2023 exam this year excluding Manipur candidates. Last year, 17, 64,571 lakh students wrote the exam for 96,077 seats. The minister of state for health Bharati Pravin Pavar had told Lok Sabha and provided information on the number of students appeared in exam for last 3 years.

NTA had revised the NEET UG 2023 eligibility criteria for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates and now OCI candidates are eligible for admission to all UG medical programmes. Earlier, OCI cardholders were allowed MBBS admissions against a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seat or a supernumerary seat only as they were treated as foreigners and ineligible for seats reserved for Indian nationals.

A Delhi court ordered both NMC and DGHS to include doctors with disabilities in the panel which is framing guidelines for NEET applicants with disabilities. A plea complained that disable candidates have to travel to multiple parts of the country to prove their disability again and again.

The highest NEET cut-off at which a medical college closed admission to the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) was 49,432 at the Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, New Delhi last year.

The NTA is expected to declare the NEET UG results 2023 soon on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The testing agency told the parliamentary committee that it will announce the NEET results by June second week.
A NEET UG 2023 candidate asked why will the NEET 2023 result be declared on June 17 (as per reports) if the exam is over for Manipur candidates. "Why 17 June? I thought near by 10 June because now Manipur neet is finished so it's will take 3 or 4 days," he said in a tweet.
The AIIMS Delhi retained the first spot in NIRF ranking 2023 for medical category while PGIMER Chandigarh secured the second rank. JIPMER Puducherry replaced BHU and jumped to the 5th position. CMC Vellore also retained the 3rd rank this year.

The opening rank for BDS at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi last year was 1,910 and the closing rank was 7,469. While, the opening rank was 4,172 at the Institute of Medical Sciences Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

Tanishka from Rajasthan topped NEET UG exam by scoring 715 marks last year. She used to study 6-7 hours daily. The student took NEET coaching from Allen Career Institute, Kota during which she never hesitated to ask questions. Tanishka aspired to study MBBS at AIIMS Delhi.
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College, Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research are some of the medical colleges that offered MBBS admissions to students who scored between 300-400 in NEET UG.

According to the NEET cut-off last year, candidates who have scored between 710-124 in the exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling for MBBS admissions.
A total of 20,87,449 students appeared for NEET UG 2023 exam conducted on May 7 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at over 4,000 centres in almost 500 cities.
According to the NEET exam pattern this year, the question paper included four subjects -- physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany. There were two sections in each subject - Section A and Section B . Section A included 35 questions and section B included 15 questions. The exam was conducted for a total of 720 marks.
As per various media reports, the NEET UG 2023 result is expected to be declared by the second week of June. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the re-exam for Manipur candidates on June 6.

As per the official data, 99,013 MBBS seats, 27,868 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc and AH seats are available, along with 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats in 612 medical college and 315 dental colleges.
As per the last year's cut-off, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute had the highest cut-off rank of 4,856 for MBBS admission. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will be holding the counselling for UG admission for medical courses after the NEET UG results 2023 are declared.

The NEET UG 2023 was held on May 7 and the re-exam for some students was conducted on June 6, 2023.
