NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) result and issue the answer key today, June 13. NEET UG 2023 was held on May 7 and June 6 for over 20 lakh undergraduate medical aspirants. The NTA NEET website -- neet.nta.nic.in will make the NEET UG answer key and result links available. The NEET cut-off for MBBS and BDS for medical aspirants belonging to General category is 50th, while it is 40th for OBC, SC and ST candidates. The NTA determines the NEET UG percentile on the basis of the highest marks scored in the all-India common merit list in NEET UG 2023.

Last year, the NEET UG cut-off for all the categories dropped from the previous year. The NEET cut-off last year for unreserved category candidates had decreased from 720-138 in NEET 2021 to 715-117 in NEET UG last year. The NEET UG cut-off last year for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates have also declined from 137-108 in 2021 to 116-93 in NTA NEET UG last year.

The NEET UG 2023 paper comprised -- physics, chemistry and biology. The biology part had questions on botany and zoology. Each subject had two sections -- A and B. While Section A had 35 questions and Section B had only 15. Out of the 15 questions in Section B, candidates had to attempt any 10 questions.
