NMC has asked PG students admitted to SS medical courses, whose names are not displayed in the list, to contact the respective Directorate of Medical Education to resolve the issue.
Despite multiple reminders from the National Medical Commission (NMC), medical colleges have reported only 3,547 students as admitted so far in the postgraduate super specialty medical courses for the academic year 2024-25.
The Postgraduate Medical Education Board ( PGMEB ) earlier this month set October 15 as the deadline for all medical colleges to upload details of admitted students through NEET SS scores.
However, the Board stated that some medical colleges have either not uploaded the required student details or have submitted incomplete information. Despite several circulars and public notices, only 3,547 students have been reported as admitted. The details of these candidates, including the course and college, have been displayed on the NMC portal.
“All students admitted to Postgraduate Super Specialty Courses (DM/MCh) for the Academic Year 2024-25 are requested to verify that their names appear in the uploaded list available on the official NMC website,” the circular stated.

In case the name of any student admitted in SS medical courses is not displayed in the uploaded list, they have been instructed to contact the respective Directorate of Medical Education or the designated counselling authority to resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, the NEET SS exam date 2025 has been postponed twice already. As per the latest update, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that it will conduct the NEET SS 2025 exam on December 27 and 28, instead of November 7 and 8.
