NEET SS Counselling 2023: MCC adds, withdraws seats from special round; allotment result tomorrow

NEET SS 2023 Counselling: MCC added 11 and withdrew 5 super-specialty seats from special round seat matrix.
NEW DELHI : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced addition and withdrawal of super-specialty seats from the special round of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super-Specialty (NEET SS) counselling 2023. Students participating in the counselling process can check the seats in detail on the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.
MCC has received information from Stanley Medical College, Chennai; Government Kilpauk Medical College; Madras Medical College, Chennai; Madurai Medical College, Madurai; Tirunelveli Medical College, Tirunelveli; and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and SJH, Ansari Nagar, Ring Road, New Delhi to add seats from the seat matrix of NEET SS counselling 2023 special round.
“The Medical Counselling Committee has received information from following Institutes to add/ remove the following seats from the seat matrix of Special Round of Stray Vacancy Round of SS Counselling 2023 due to reasons mentioned below. Therefore, MCC of DGHS has added/ withdrawn the following PG seats from the seat matrix of Stray Vacancy Round,” said MCC in an official notice.
Further, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna; Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Ahmedabad, and Pace Hospitals, Telangana have withdrawn seats.
MCC announced a special round of NEET SS counselling for the 2023-24 academic session after lowering of NEET SS 2023 cut-off to zero making every candidate eligible for admission. As per the NEET SS counselling schedule 2023, the registration and choice-filling processes ended on February 8. The seat allotment result will be declared tomorrow, February 9. Candidates who get a seat will have to report to the allotted institute between February 10 and 15.
