NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2024 for admission into MBBS and BDS programmes in medical colleges across the country. The NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5, which will be taken by 25 lakh students. Students can apply for the NEET UG 2024 on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

This year a record number of students have registered for the NEET UG, which will be held for admission into 645 medical, 318 dental, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc and AH colleges in the country. Students applying for the NEET UG should have scored a minimum of 50% in PCB and aggregate in Class 12. However, candidates belonging from SC, ST and PwD categories will have to get at least 40% marks in Class 12 board exam.

The exam will be used for admission into 27,868 Bachelor of Dental Sciences. In the government sector, there are 50 colleges offering 3, 513 seats while 263 private colleges, including deemed to be universities, held admission for 23,620 seats last year.
