Fraudsters beware! For NEET UG 2025, NTA launches platform to report suspicious activity

NEW DELHI: In a move to curb false claims regarding the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated platform for candidates to report suspicious claims.

The portal allows candidates to report any suspicious activity regarding the NEET UG exam such as access to NEET UG 2025 question paper, exam content, or impersonators posing as government officials.

“A dedicated platform has been launched by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to report suspicious claims regarding the NEET(UG) 2025 Examination. NTA advises candidates not to be misled by unscrupulous elements who indulge in malpractice and try to deceive candidates with false claims,” the testing agency said in the latest notice.

On the provided link on neet.nta.nic.in, candidates can report any suspicious activities falling under the following three categories:

• Unauthorized websites or social media accounts claiming NEET 2025 paper access
• Individuals claiming access to exam content
• Impersonators posing as NTA or government officials

Asserting that the process of reporting is easy, NTA explained that aspirants will have to describe what they observed, where and when the incident occurred, and upload a supporting file.

“This initiative aligns with Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, which aims to eliminate unfair practices in public examinations and protect the future of aspirants. The Act contains stringent provisions for offences committed under the Act,” NTA added.

Last year, the testing agency refuted NEET UG paper leak claims on social media and termed them baseless, asking candidates and parents to remain vigilant. Even though, the NEET paper was actually leaked leading to protests, cancellation of results, re-exam for some aspirants, and an expert committee to suggest reforms in functioning of NTA.

NTA recently issued the NEET UG 2025 exam city intimation slip. NEET UG exam 2025 will be conducted on May 4.
