NEET UG 2025 result today at neet.nta.nic.in; 20 lakh candidates await results

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 today. A total of 20.8 lakh candidates can check their NEET UG 2025 results through the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

The medical aspirants will have to type their login credentials such as application number and password to check the NEET UG result 2025. The single-largest medical entrance exam was conducted for admission to various undergraduate medical programmes including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS.

As per the NEET UG marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each wrong response.

The NEET UG 2025 question paper was conducted in different languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

“The Result of NEET (UG) - 2025 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/rules. The result data will also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules,” as per the information bulletin of NTA NEET UG 2025.

NEET UG 2025: Reservation Policy for different categories

Around 10% seats are reserved in every course for general category candidates, belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS). For Other Backward Classes (OBC) aspirants, who belong to the Non-Creamy Layer (OBC- NCL), around 27% of seats are reserved in each course.
