NEET UG 2025 round 3 counselling registration closes today; 139 new seats added, choice filling extended

Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the registration process for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 round 3 counselling today, October 5. The committee has also extended the deadline for the NEET UG 2025 round 3 choice filling and locking till further instructions.

Eligible candidates who have not registered for the NEET UG counselling can do so through the official website at mcc.nic.in. According to the latest notice, a total of 139 new seats have been added across participating institutes. Candidates are now eligible to exercise their NEET UG choice filling for these newly added seats.
The NEET UG 2025 round 3 counselling is being held for 15,796 seats across government, government-aided, and private medical colleges. Of these, 4,821 seats are available under clear vacancy, while 10,737 fall under the virtual vacancy category.
“The seats mentioned below have been ADDED in the Seat Matrix of Round-3 of UG Counselling 2025. Candidates can now exercise Choice Filling for the below mentioned seats. Further, some more seats may be added, hence, the Choice Filling for Round-3 is extended till further instructions,” the MCC said.
Earlier, the deadline to complete the NEET UG round 3 choice filling was today, October 5. The processing of seat allotment is scheduled for October 6, 7. The NEET UG round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled to be declared on October 8, 2025.
