NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre as mentioned in their NEET UG admit card 2025, according to the NEET UG exam timings 2025, and follow the exam-day instructions. NEET UG 2025 Live.

Examinees are required to reach the NEET UG exam centre 2025 at least one hour before the commencement of the medical entrance exam to complete the verification formalities. Every candidate will undergo mandatory frisking before entry to the exam hall through highly sensitive metal detectors.

In order to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of NEET 2025 following last year's fiasco over NEET paper leak resulting in Supreme Court's intervention and formation of high-level committee for reforms, the education ministry met district magistrates and police superintendents to enforce strict security measures including multi-layered security checks, frisking of candidates by local police and dedicated staff.

NTA will be making special arrangements for the frisking of NEET UG 2025 female candidates. This comes in the backdrop of a row over NEET aspirants in Kerala’s Kollam district being allegedly asked to remove undergarments to be allowed to take the exam in the past. A protest on the incident had NTA form a fact-finding committee to ascertain the facts, with orders from the Ministry of Education. Police had registered a case and five women were arrested.
