NEW DELHI: This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the NEET UG 2025 question paper pattern, wherein the optional questions in Section B have been discontinued. Earlier, the NEET paper was divided into two sections, A and B. NTA will conduct the NEET UG 2025 exam on May 4 from 2 pm to 3 pm in various centres across the country.
NTA previously introduced the optional section B questions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates had the option to answer any 10 questions out of 15 questions from section B. NTA also discontinued the selection of optional questions in JEE Mains 2025 paper and and the changes have been followed in NEET UG 2025 exam.
The NEET 2025 question paper will have 180 questions in total, comprising 720 marks in total. The NEET UG 2025 syllabus includes topics of Class 11 and 12 physics, chemistry, and biology subjects. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, and Urdu.
