Try NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has posted important frequently asked questions (FAQs) for NEET UG 2026 on its official X handle. The NEET UG guidelines outline key exam-day rules, including ID proof requirements, dress code, how to fill the OMR sheet, and items that are not allowed in the exam hall.
Earlier, the agency opened the NEET UG 2026 scribe registration portal for PwBD candidates , which will remain active till April 21, 11:50 pm. Eligible candidates requiring assistance during the NEET exam must complete registration within the deadline through the official portal.
As per the schedule, the NEET UG 2026 exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode in 552 cities across India and 14 cities abroad. The exam will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The NEET UG 2026 city intimation slip was issued on April 13, allowing registered candidates to check their allotted exam city ahead of the examination. The NEET UG 2026 admit card will be issued in the last week of April, a few days before the exam.

As per the NEET UG 2026 exam pattern, the question paper will have 180 questions from physics, chemistry, and biology. Each correct answer will get 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The exam is based on the NCERT syllabus of Classes 11 and 12.
