NEET UG city intimation slip likely today at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET; barred item at exam centre

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will likely release the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2024) today on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET, media reports said. The NTA will conduct the NEET 2024 on May 5 from 2 pm to 5.20 pm for admission into MBBS, BDS, UG programmes in ayurveda, unani, siddha and homoeopathy and nursing.

The NEET 2024 city slip will be released so that students can plan their visit to the examination centre. The city intimation slip will contain the student’s name, roll number and name of the city where examination hall has been allotted. The centre name and address will be mentioned on the NEET 2024 admit card that will be released some days after the city slip.
In case of any error in the particulars or photograph and signatures in the NEET city intimation slip or admit card, the candidate should immediately approach the helpline between 10 am and 5 pm. “In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded admit card. However, the NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later,” the NTA said.

Candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2024 will not be allowed to carry the following items inside the examination centre:
- Any item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, calculator, log table, electronic pen and scanner
- Any communication device like mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band and others
- Other items like wallet, goggles, handbags, belt, cap and others
- Any watch or wristwatch, bracelet and camera
- Any ornaments/metallic items
- Any food items opened or packed and water bottle
- Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera and bluetooth device.
