NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET UG 2021 counselling for admission to medical and dental admission. Candidates will be able to register for NEET UG Counselling 2021 at the official website at mcc.nic.in . However, medical aspirants should note that the official date for the NEET 2021 undergraduate counselling has not been announced yet.

As per the latest news on NEET 2021, authorities have released an advisory on NEET 2021 counselling session. As per the MCC official notice, aspirants are advised not to believe any fake agent and complete all the registrations and NEET 2021 choice filling process on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

As of now, the NEET 2021 counselling dates have not been announced yet. However, it is expected that any latest update on NEET 2021 counselling will be announced soon on the official website.

Below are some of the frequently asked questions (FAQ) on NEET UG 2021 counselling, which was answered on the basis of the previous year's NEET counselling scheme by the MCC.

Question: When will NEET 2021 counselling start?

Answer: NEET UG 2021 counselling dates are yet to be announced by the MCC. However, candidates must note that the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) will commence the NEET 2021 counselling process for admissions to the All India Quota seats. The counselling for NEET for the states medical UG admission will be commenced by state authorities. Aspirants are also advised to keep checking mcc.nic.in for updates on NEET 2021 counselling dates and details.

Question: How to fill NEET UG 2021 registration and choice filling form on the website, mcc.nic.in?

Answer:

  • Visit the official website mcc.nic.in and click on the "new registration" tab.

  • Enter the asked details such as roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth as printed on their NEET 2021 scorecard.

  • Pay the NEET 2021 counselling online through a Credit/Debit card or internet banking.

  • Fill in the choice of course and give preferences to the college/institute. Please note that there is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill.

  • After entering the choices, candidates need to lock the choices before the mentioned date. If any candidate fails to do so, the choices will be locked automatically on the last date.

Question: What documents are required at the time of online counselling?

Answer: Since it is an online allotment (Online Counseling) process, no documents will be required for participating in the online allotment process during the NEET 2021 registration.

Question: How and when do I have to make the payment?

Answer: After registering for fresh registration, the payment page appears automatically. Candidates can make online payment through net banking/ credit card/ debit card only. Applicants must note that only after the successful payment they can proceed for choice filling.

Question: What documents are required at the time of Joining/ Reporting in the allotted Medical/Dental College?

Answer:

  • NEET admit card

  • NEET scorecard or rank letter

  • Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)

  • Class 12 certificate and mark sheet

  • ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)

  • Eight passport size photographs

  • Provisional Allotment Letter

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)

NRI/ OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities must submit the following documents

  • Passport copy of sponsored, embassy certificate

  • Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsor is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study)

  • Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)

Through NEET 2021 counselling by MCC, admission will be granted for 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 100% seats in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER. The admission to the remaining 85% state quota seats and all seats in private universities will be done by respective counselling authorities.
