NEET UG Counselling 2024: Round 1 seat allotment result postponed; to be out tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the round 1 seat allotment result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. The committee will now declare the NEET UG counselling 2024 round 1 seat allotment result tomorrow, August 24.

As per the official notice, Delhi University asked MCC to revise the list of Candidates with Disabilities (CW). As a result, the declaration of the round 1 NEET UG counselling 2024 results, which was initially scheduled for today, August 23, 2024, has been postponed.

“Information has been received from Delhi University on 23.08.2024 regarding publishing of revised CW list. In this regard, the result of Round-I of NEET UG counselling 2024 which was scheduled to be declared today i.e., 23.08.2024 is being postponed and is expected to be published tomorrow i.e., 24.08.2024,” the official notice read.

Eligible candidates who exercise the NEET UG 2024 choices filling process will be able to check the seat allotment result through the official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates will have to enter their application number and password to log in and download the NEET UG 2024 seat allotment letter.

The Counselling Committee also informed that it has received a notification from Sri Krishna Medical College, Muzaffarpur, Bihar, requesting the removal of All India Quota (AIQ) Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) seats that were inadvertently included in the seat matrix by the college. A total of 4 MBBS seats, categorized under Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Unreserved (UR), will be removed from the seat matrix before the allotment process for round 1.
