NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the NEET UG counselling 2024 round 1 seat allotment 2024 for candidates seeking admission into MBBS, BDS, and allied courses. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counselling 2024 is conducted to fill 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The choice filling and locking facility was extended twice and was closed on August 22; two days after the scheduled date.

NEET-qualified candidates will be able to view and download the allotment status by logging in using application number and password on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The MCC has instructed candidates to report to the allotted college any day between August 24 to 29 and get their documents verified.

Candidates will be given an option to accept the allotment or reject. Additionally, they will also be given a choice to be considered for higher preference submitted by them in the subsequent rounds. Those who are satisfied with the NEET UG round 1 allotment will have to proceed to pay fees and report to the college, while others will be able to indicate their willingness to upgrade choices in round 2.

The counselling committee said it has received information from ESIC Medical College and PGIMER, Bengaluru and Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center to remove MBBS and BSc Nursing seats. A total of 7 MBBS seats in ESIC-MC and PGIMER Bengaluru and all BSc Nursing seats from the latter have been removed.
