MCC has not announced the exact date and time for release of final allotment results. Following information bulletin, it was supposed to be out on September 11. 

The Medical Counselling Committee has revised the provisional seat allotment result for NEET UG round 2 today. MCC is yet to announce the final seat allotment result. 

The medical commission has directed all medical colleges to ensure that admissions are made only against approved number of seats. It also said that the admission made in excess of the approved intake capacity will be treated as non-compliance with the provisions of the NMC Act.

Following the schedule released by MCC earlier, those who have been allotted seats must report to the college between September 12 and 18. The document verification of candidates is scheduled for September 19. However, with MCC not releasing the final seat allotment result yet, this is expected to change.

Ahead of releasing the final seat allotment result for round 2, NMC has revised MBBS seat matrix and added 13,186 new seats in 836 private and government medical colleges. Excluding Institutes of National Importance (INIs) seats, a total of 1,40,214 seats have been offered for MBBS admission this year.

Candidates at ranks 32324 and 32337 received fresh BDS allotments under the Open Seat Quota, with the former listed under Open OBC and the latter under OBC; their option numbers are 459 and 434 respectively, and both are marked “Fresh Allotted in 2nd Round.” 

A candidate received a fresh BDS allotment at Government Dental College and Hospital, Nagpur. The candidate was allotted an Open OBC BDS seat with option number 459, and the status in the PDF is “Fresh Allotted in 2nd Round.”

The Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2026 round 2 process has begun with the publication of the seat matrix on September 8, 2026. Candidates were given the facility to fill their choices online from September 8 to 10, while the round 2 MHT CET NEET 2026 seat allotment result will be announced on September 12. Candidates allotted seats will have to complete the physical joining process between September 13 and 18, 2026.

The Chhattisgarh NEET UG Round 2 registration process was held from September 5 to 8, while candidates were allowed to fill and lock their choices from September 5 to 9. 

The Round 2 Chhattisgarh NEET UG merit list and seat allotment result were yet to be announced. Candidates who participated in the counselling were advised to check the official schedule for further updates on the merit list, seat allotment, and admission process.

The UP NEET UG counselling 2026 seat allotment result was announced on September 7, 2026. Candidates who were allotted seats are required to report to the respective colleges between September 8 and September 14, 2026 to complete the admission process. The round 2 UP NEET UG counselling schedule will be announced soon.

NEET UG round 2 allotment data includes candidates who retained their AIIMS Guwahati MBBS seats. For example, rank 2994 was allotted AIIMS Guwahati under the Open Seat Quota and Open General category, with the status marked “Retained”. Another candidate at rank 2997 also retained an Open General MBBS seat at AIIMS Guwahati.

NEET UG PDF shows that a candidate with rank 312, who was reported at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, was upgraded to Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi. The candidate was allotted MBBS under the OBC category through the All India quota, with option number 1 marked “Upgraded.” 

The provisional allotment data records several candidates who were reported at their Round 1 institutes but did not opt for upgradation. Entries include candidates holding MBBS seats at AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Bhopal and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital.

A candidate with rank 133, who was reported at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr RML Hospital, New Delhi, was upgraded to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in the second round. The candidate was allotted MBBS under Open General category through the Open Seat Quota, with option number 4 marked as “upgraded” in the allotment data.

Medical Counselling Committee will release the second round final seat allotment result tomorrow, September 11. The Committee has not announced the exact time for release yet. Once out, those who will be allotted seats can proceed with admission process which includes document verification as well. 

Candidates whose category or quota has been changed in the same institution and subject are required to get an online generated relieving letter and get admitted to the changed category or changed quota seat from the allotted institution. Such candidates must get fresh online-generated admission letter for the changed category or quota seat; otherwise, the allotted seat will be cancellaed due to non-admission.

Medical Counselling Committee has released the round 2 provisional allotment result. The final seat allotment result for NEET UG round 2 will be released tomorrow.
