Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 counselling schedule for round 3 and the online stray vacancy round. The MCC counselling covers 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100% seats of deemed universities, central universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.
NEET UG Counselling 2026: Key dates
As per the schedule, NEET UG round 3 registration and fee payment will be held from September 22 to 27, 2026. Candidates can fill and lock their choices from September 23 to 28, while the round 3 seat allotment result will be announced on September 30. Candidates allotted seats will have to report to their respective institutes from October 1 to 9, 2026.
The online stray vacancy round will be conducted in October. The NEET UG counselling registration and payment will begin on October 12 and continue till October 14, 2026. Choice filling will be available from October 12 to 15, and the stray vacancy seat allotment result will be released on October 17, 2026.
The MCC NEET UG round 2 counselling process is currently underway. Candidates who allotted seats in round 2 have to report to their allotted institutes between September 12 and 18, 2026. Institutes will verify the data of joined candidates on September 19.
MCC has also directed participating institutes and colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days to ensure that the NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule is completed within the prescribed timeline.

NEET UG Rajasthan: Revised round 2 seat matrix out
The Rajasthan NEET UG counselling board has released the round 2 revised seat matrix. As per the revised seat matrix, a total of 4,672 MBBS and BDS seats across government and private medical and dental colleges in the state. The revised seat matrix includes 3,866 MBBS seats and 806 BDS seats.

Round 2 of the MCC NEET UG counselling process is underway. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the second round must report to their respective institutes from September 12 to 18, 2026. Participating institutes will verify the details of candidates who have joined on September 19, 2026.

NEET UG round 3 counselling 2026 dates
As per the NEET counselling 2026 schedule, the registration window will commence on September 22 and will close at 3 pm on September 27, while the payment facility will remain available until 6 PM on the same day. Choice filling will close at 12 noon on September 28.
