NERIST announces new NEE 2025 exam centre at Manipur’s Churachandpur

NEW DELHI: The competent authority of the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has approved a new centre for the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2025 at Churachandpur district in Manipur. The decision has been taken after reviewing a report submitted by the committee which visited the district.
“In pursuance of the resolution of Agenda Item No.AC.42.17 of the 42nd Meeting of Academic Council held on 01.03.2025 and as per ground assessment report submitted by the committee after the visit to Churachandpur, Manipur for the creation of the new centre. The Competent Authority of NERIST has approved for the creation of new NEE Centre at Churachandpur District in the state of Manipur and shall be made functional from NEE-2025,” says NERIST in an official notification.
The institute informed that the new NEE 2025 exam centre at Churachandpur is in addition to the existing examination centre at Imphal. With the announcement of the new centre, the authorities aim to facilitate all aspiring candidates from the state of Manipur to apply for the entrance exam.
NERIST NEE 2025 registration is underway on the official website, neeonline.ac.in, and the last date to submit the application form is April 3. NEE 2025 admit card will be issued on April 15.
NEE 2 (PCM) 2025 for engineering and technology, NEE 2 (PCB) for forestry, and NEE 3 exams will be conducted on April 26. NEE 1 and NEE 2 (PCM) Science exams will take place on April 27. The test will be held in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm on both the days.
