NEST 2024: Registration window likely to open soon; eligibility, exam pattern

Download NowNEW DELHI: NISER Bhubaneswar is expected to commence the registration process for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) soon. As per the reports, NEST 2024 registration link will be active in March 2024. Interested candidates will be able to register for NEST 2024 exam through the official website, nestexam.in.
Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in Class 12 to be eligible to appear NEST 2024 exam. Candidates must secure at least 60 percent marks in aggregate or in Class 12 to apply for NEST exam.
Apart from this, General and OBC category candidates born on or after August 1, 2004 are eligible for admission. While, the age limit is relaxed by five years for SC, ST candidates.

Candidates appearing for NEST 2024 exam can check the paper pattern in the table given below-

The NEST 2024 application form will be made available in an online mode on the official website. Candidates have to first register by providing their personal and educational details. After receiving the NEST 2024 registration credentials via email and SMS, candidates will login again and fill up the NEST application form with their personal and academic details. After this, candidates need to pay the application fee and submit NEST 2024 application form.
General category candidates have to pay Rs 1,200 as NEST 2024 application fees. While females, SC, ST, OBC category candidates can pay NEST application fees 2024 of Rs 600.
