NHPC opens registration link for 248 non-executive posts; apply by October 1

NHPC Recruitment 2025: Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the computer-based written test and document verification.
The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has activated the registration link for a total of 248 non-executive posts. Eligible candidates can apply for various vacancies through the NHPC’s official website at nhpcindia.com.
The registration-cum-application process for the computer-based test will be closed at 5 pm on October 1.
Candidates belonging to general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), General Economically Weaker Section - (EWS) categories will have to obtain at least 40 per cent marks to be declared qualified.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category applicants will need 35 per cent to secure the job.
The merit list will be issued on the basis of the candidates’ scores in the written test and document verification.
General, EWS, OBC candidates should have to pay Rs 708 to submit the recruitment form, while SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, female candidates are exempted from paying the registration fee.

NHPC India Recruitment 2025: Pay scale
As per the pay scale for various posts at the NHPC India, Junior Engineer (civil), mechanical, E and C are offered a salary ranging from Rs 29,600 to Rs 1,19,500 for each vacancy.
The same pay scale applies to supervisor IT, and senior accountant positions. Whereas the salary range for Hindi translator is Rs 27,000 to Rs 1,05,000 and for Assistant Rajbhasha Officer post, it is Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,40,000.
The various posts under the NHPC recruitment drive include Assistant Rajbhasha Officer, Junior Engineer (civil), JE (electrical), JE (Mechanical), JE (E and C), supervisor (IT), senior accountant, and Hindi translator.
