NEW DELHI: National Institute of Design (NID) has declared the BDesign seat allotment results 2024 for candidates who qualified the entrance exam. The admission offer letter has been on the basis of merit and availability of seats for candidates who have uploaded their documents and got it verified. Candidates can check the NID BDes seat allotment results 2024 through the official website, admissions.nid.edu.

Candidates belonging to general, general-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD will have to pay Rs 30,000 as token fees plus convenience fees. International or overseas students should pay Rs 75,000 plus convenience fees.
If candidates fail to make the token fee payment before May 31, the admission offer letter will be cancelled and the seats will be offered to the next qualified candidates. Such candidates will be considered in the subsequent round for the higher preference submitted earlier.
The token fees and required documents have to be submitted by May 31 before 4 pm on the official website, admissions.nid.edu. Here’s the list of documents to be submitted for seat allocation.
- Photo identity such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, driving license.
- Birth certificate and proof of birth.
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Self-undertaking as per the prescribed format.
- Caste certificate and PwD certificate.
How to check NID BDes seat allotment
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the NID BDes admission offer letter.
- Visit the NID official website, admissions.nid.edu.
- Click on the “B.Des. Seat Allotment, Payment of Token Fees & Uploading of Documents: until 1600 hrs. 31 May 2024”
- Key in email address and password generated during registration.
- Submit the login credentials entered.
- The BDes allotment letter will be displayed for qualified candidates.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
"Those candidates who are seeking provisional admission due to non-declaration of their Class XII result, will have to a submit their qualifying marksheet on or before 15 July 2024. In case the candidate fails to submit her/his Class XII result on or before 15 July 2024, whatsoever may be the reason, her/his admission will be treated as null and void (cancelled) and the entire fees will be forfeited," the institute said.
