NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2025 prelims exam tomorrow, January 5, 2025, for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes offered by the design institutes.

NID DAT 2025 prelims exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode in a single shift at various test centres across India. Those candidates who qualify the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for NID DAT Mains 2025.
NID DAT Prelims 2025 question paper for BDes will be divided into two sections – section A and section B. It will comprise a total of 31 questions. The MDes question paper, on the other hand, will consist of 37 questions.
For BDes, the marks obtained by the candidates in NID DAT 2025 Prelims exam will carry a weightage of 40% for the preparation of the final merit list. Whereas for MDes, the prelims test has been allotted a 30% weightage.
