NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Fashion Technology is going to close the online registration portal for NIFT entrance exam 2022 for BDes, BFTech, MDes, MFTech, and MFM admission at NIFT campuses on January 17, 2022, Monday. However, students can also fill the NIFT 2022 application form till January 22 by payment of a late fee (Rs 5000), in case they miss the NIFT exam early registration deadline. NIFT application form correction window for the already submitted form will be active from January 18 to January 22.

NIFT 2022 application form is available online on the official website - nift.ac.in. NIFT exam 2022 will be conducted in pen and paper mode on February 6, 2022, in 32 cities across the nation. Students appearing for the NIFT GAT for admission in B.Des will have to solve the questions in 2 hours. However the exam duration for the B.F.Tech GAT is 3 hours.

Students must pass a class 12 (10+2) board exam or equivalent from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination.
Candidates appearing for the 10+2 exam or equivalent in 2022 are also eligible to apply for the NIFT 2022 entrance exam.
General Category/ OBC-NCL candidates' upper age must be less than 24 years as of August 1, 2022.
SC/ ST/ PwD applicants get relaxation of the 5 years upper age limit.
To complete the NIFT registration process, applicants are advised to follow the following steps;
Step 1: Go to the official NIFT website - nift.ac.in.
Step 2: Register with valid details to create the NIFT login credentials.
Step 3: Next, fill in the personal, educational, communication details in the NIFT 2022 application form.
Step 4: Then, choose the NIFT test centres in the application form.
Step 5: Upload the required documents in a prescribed format and size.
Step 6: Finally, pay the NIFT application fee and submit the filled application.
