The institute declared the round 1 NIFT seat allotment results 2025 on July 7. Candidates who have been allotted seats based on the ranks secured by them in the entrance exam, are required to submit their willingness to take admission before midnight today.
Candidates will have to choose one of the three options – floating, sliding, or freezing – while accepting their admission offer.
A candidate choosing ‘floating’ option will imply that they are willing to be considered for all the higher preferences provided by them in the subsequent rounds. The ‘sliding’ option is applicable for BDesign, and it means that they are willing to be considered for all preferred choices within the same campus.
Those students who are satisfied with the allocation and choose to accept and remain with the programme and the campus allotted to them will have to opt for ‘freezing’ option.
“Option for opting for NRI Sponsored seat will be available on 12th July, 2025 from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM and modification in choice filling will be available between 14th to 16th July, 2025 upto 12.00 midnight for 2nd Round of Seat Allocation,” it said.
