NIFT 2025 exam on February 9; registration begins at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Examination 2025 date. As per the official schedule, the NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted on February 9.

The NIFT 2025 registrations has commenced today, November 22. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the NIFT 2025 registration form by visiting the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. As per the official schedule, the NIFT 2025 registration deadline is January 9. Candidates will also get an application correction facility from January 10. The last date to edit the NIFT 2025 application form is January 12.

The NIFT 2025 exam comprises of General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT). The GAT is common for all the courses, while BDes and MDes candidates also need to appear for the CAT. The GAT paper will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode, while the CAT paper will be held offline.

NIFT 2025 Registration: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can have a look at the NIFT 2025 eligibility criteria for BDes programmes below

• Passed the Class 12 from any recognized central or state board

OR

• A pass grade in the senior secondary school examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.

OR

• 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education after Class 10

OR

• Any public school, board, university examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the association of Indian universities as equivalent to Class 10+2 system.

OR

• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London, Cambridge, Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level, International Baccalaureate (IB)

NIFT 2025 Exam Pattern: BDes paper

The NIFT 2025 exam for BDes exam will be conducted online. The duration of the NIFT 2025 paper is 2 hours. The medium of the NIFT 2025 exam is English and Hindi. The NIFT 2025 paper carries a total of 100 marks. There will be a total of 100 questions. Candidates can have a look at the section-wise breakup of NIFT 2025 BDes paper below.
