NIMCET Registration 2026: The NIT Tiruchirappalli will conduct the NIMCET 2026 for admission to MCA in 11 NITs and 2 IIITs for the academic session 2026-27
The National Institute of Technology (NIT Tiruchirappalli) will start accepting online applications for the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET 2026) from tomorrow, March 3, at 10 am. Eligible candidates can apply for NIMCET 2026 on the official website, nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
As per the NIMCET 2026 schedule, the last date to submit the NIMCET application form is May 1, up to 5 pm. The computer-based test will be conducted on June 6 in a single shift, from 2 pm to 4 pm, and the exam duration will be two hours.
The NIT Tiruchirappalli will conduct NIMCET 2026 for admission to the MCA programme in 11 NITs and two IIITs for the 2026–27 academic session.

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme is offered by NITs at Tiruchirappalli, Agartala, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Allahabad, Patna, Raipur, Kurukshetra, Meghalaya, and Warangal, and by IIITs at Bhopal and Vadodara.
Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC, ST, and PwD candidates) and studied mathematics or statistics as a subject are eligible to apply for NIMCET 2026 . Candidates with a BE or BTech degree from a recognised university can also apply.
