NIN opens applications for BNYS degree admissions for 2026-27 session; apply by Oct 19

The BNYS programme offers integrated academic education along with extensive clinical exposure in naturopathy and yoga. A total of 100 seats are being offered for the academic session 2026–27.
The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), has opened applications for admission to Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) programme for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible students can apply for the BNYS course through the official website at ninpune.ayush.gov.in.
The NIN will close the application portal for admission to the BNYS course on October 19 at 5 pm. The provisional merit list will be announced on October 27, 2026, followed by the final merit or waiting list on October 30, 2026.
The counselling session will be conducted on November 12 to 13 and 18 to 19, 2026, while classes will commence from November 30, 2026.
BNYS Admissions 2026: Total seats, eligibility
The 5½-year full-time residential BNYS programme includes 4½ years of academic and clinical training, followed by one year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI).
The programme offers integrated academic education along with extensive clinical exposure in naturopathy and yoga . A total of 100 seats are being offered for the academic session 2026–27.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English from a recognised board and fulfil the prescribed eligibility and medical fitness requirements are eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to candidates who have appeared for NEET-UG 2026. Any remaining vacant seats will be filled on the basis of 10+2 PCB merit, in accordance with the prescribed admission procedure and reservation norms.
NIN is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Ayush, and is the first central government institution in the country to offer the BNYS programme in affiliation with a central university, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi.
