NEW DELHI : The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has extended the last date to register for secondary (10th) and senior secondary (12th) courses for April 2023 exams till July 31 without late fee. Eligible students can register online on the official admission website of NIOS – sdmis.nios.ac.in. NIOS 10th, 12th public exams 2023 for these courses will be held in April 2023.

“National Institute of Open Schooling is an autonomous organisation under the EduMinOfIndia, offers Academic, Vocational and OBE courses through ODL mode. The online registration in Secondary & Sr Secondary courses are open now,” NIOS handle said in a tweet.

Eligibility Criteria for NIOS admission 2022-23
For Secondary Courses:
- The minimum age to take admission in the secondary course is 14 years as on July 31 of the current year.
- A learner giving a self-certificate "I have studied enough to be able to pursue a secondary course" is also eligible for admission to the secondary course.
- A learner who had studied at the secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance.
For Senior Secondary courses
- The minimum age to take admission in the senior secondary course is 15 years as on July 31 of the current year.
- In order to take admission in the senior secondary course, the learner must have passed the secondary course from a recognised board.
How to register for NIOS 10th, 12th admission
- Go to the official website – sdmis.nios.ac.in.
- Click on the application submission link.
- Enter the required details and upload the necessary documents
- Submit the NIOS admission form along with the document.
