NIOS Class 10, 12 Exam: The last date to fill out the application for the NIOS Oct-Nov 2024 public exam is July 6 without late fee.
NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has begun the registration process for the secondary and senior secondary NIOS public exam 2024. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form for the October-November 2024 public examinations through the official website, nios.ac.in.

As per the schedule, the last date to fill out the application for the NIOS Class 10, 12 public exam is July 6 without late fee. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 300 per subject to register for the NIOS 2024 Oct-Nov public exam. For subjects that carry practicals, students will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 150 to register.
Students who want to enrol in the secondary and senior secondary courses of NIOS under Stream 1 Block 2 of 2023, with their first public exams scheduled for Oct-Nov 2024, are required to pay the examination fee. However, students enrolled in Stream 2 of 2024 for the same courses are exempt from paying the examination fee.
Students from Class 12 need to ensure a mandatory two-year gap from their secondary examination passing year to obtain their passing certificate. “Learners of Senior Secondary courses who passed their class 10th after October 2022 (in April 2023, Oct 2023 or April 2024) shall pay the exam fee to appear in the public exams of Senior Secondary courses in October/November 2024 for not more than 4 subjects (including already passed subjects (if any)),” the official notice read. However, if they choose more than four subjects, their results won't be declared, and they'll need to pay the exam fee again for the next exam session to complete their certification.
