NIRF Ranking 2021: Best engineering colleges other than IITs

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education’s (MoE), National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) released the India rankings for all colleges at noon on Thursday via a virtual event. This year the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli secured the 9th position and the National Institute of Technology Karnataka secured the 10th position with 64.19 score replacing IIT Indore from last year.

As per the latest rankings released by NIRF, the Indian Institutes of Technology have retained the top positions yet another year, with the top 8 colleges in the top 10 being IITs. IIT Madras for the sixth consecutive year has secured the top position in the overall and engineering category.
But there are other colleges besides IITs that secured the top positions in the engineering category as per NIRF rankings 2021. Combined here is a list of best engineering colleges in India other than IITs.

The rankings were released for ten other categories, with one new category added this year for research institutions. The rankings for categories such as pharma, medicine , management , colleges and others are all available on the official website.
