NIRF Ranking 2024: AIIMS Delhi best medical college for last 3 years; top 10 institutes

NIRF Medical College Ranking 2024: PGIMER Chandigarh is the second best institute as per previous years’ rankings.
NEW DELHI: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2024 will be announced on August 12. Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan will release the rankings during a virtual event. Under the NIRF rankings, institutions across the country will be ranked in 13 categories namely engineering, medical, dental, overall, colleges, universities, management, pharmacy, law, architecture and planning, research, agriculture and allied sectors, and innovation.
The colleges and universities will be ranked based on five parameters . For the last three years, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( AIIMS ) Delhi has been grabbing the top rank in the medical category. The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, and National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) have been securing the second, third, and fourth spots respectively.
The medical institutes were given scores on the basis of the data submitted by them on seat intake, student strength, placements, higher studies, financial resources, faculty details, research, facilities for disabled students, and OPD facilities.
