NITI Aayog establishes Atal Incubation Centres at BHU

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 1: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Institute of Management Studies has established the AIC Mahamana Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the campus. The centre has been established under the Government of India’s flagship mission, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM).

The AIC intends to support the establishment of new incubation centres called Atal Incubation Centres (AICs) that would nurture innovative start-up businesses in their pursuit to become scalable and sustainable enterprises.

Prof. P S Tripathi, Head, Dean & Director, IM-BHU highlighted about the history, particularly speciality of the Institute. Moreover, He added that creativity and innovation need hand-holding that will be provided by AIC in the institute.

Prof H C Chaudhary former Dean of the institute stressed on the entrepreneurial journey of IM-BHU and suggested that social innovation entrepreneurship shall be the future of the current scenario.
The further enlightening of the audience was done by Ambarish Dutta who discussed the excitement that BSE has to get the opportunity of establishing and working in collaboration with NITI Aayog and BHU.
