NITTT February 2024 exam on February 10; guidelines to appear in online test

NEW DELHI: The National Initiative for Technical Teachers' Training (NITTT) exam 2024 for inductee teachers will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from February 10. NITTT February 2024 exam will be held in internet-based-remote proctored mode.
As per the exam schedule announced by the NTA, the exam will be conducted on February 10, 11, 17 and 18. Candidates will be able to take the exam from their location on their laptops. However, the exam will be conducted in two shifts - the first shift will be held from 10 am to 1 pm and the second from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
Candidates will have to choose any one of the shifts to appear in the exam. They will be under invigilation by “human proctors who will monitor their movements, including those on their screen”.

“Specific details on how to attend the webinar and appear in the mock test will be provided to the candidates through the admit cards and through emails sent to their registered email addresses.” the official notice read.
The question paper will carry 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates who obtain at least 50% of the total marks will qualify for the exam. The one-time registration fee of Rs 2,000 will be valid for three years.
Guidelines to appear for NITTT exam 2024
The NTA has issued NITTT exam guidelines for candidates appearing in the remote-proctored test.

Candidates should keep their admit card, valid ID proof handy. They will be allowed to keep a transparent drinking water bottle with them during the exam.

In case the invigilator notices any suspicious eye movement or behaviour, the proctor may ask the candidate to show the surrounding area through the webcam.

The warning will be displayed in the chat section.

If a candidate fails to follow the instructions of the proctor, their candidature may be cancelled.

The proctor has the right to end the candidate's exam if they refuses to follow the directions despite several warnings from them. It is necessary for candidates to monitor the chat window for any messages from the proctor.

Candidates are not permitted to keep any sheets of paper for noting anything or performing any rough work.
