NEW DELHI: National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) will conduct the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2021, today, from 2 pm to 3:30 pm. The entrance exams for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD will be conducted in offline, pen and paper mode, across the country.

The university has already issued AILET 2021 admit card on its official website. After the AILET 2021, the answer key is also expected to be released by today evening.

Candidates must carry the following documents to their designated test centre.
AILET 2021 will have multiple choice type questions. The test (for both BA LLB and LLM) will be conducted for a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Each question will carry one mark and a negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each incorrect answer.
The entrance exam for admission to BA LLB will be conducted for admission to 110 seats offered by the university. There will be 150 questions in AILET BA LLB 2021 from the topics mentioned below.
English (35 Marks)
General Knowledge (Current Affairs, General Science, History, Geography, Economics, Civics) (35 Marks)
Legal Aptitude (35 Marks)
Reasoning (35 Marks)
Elementary Mathematics (10 Marks)
The university conducts AILET LLM for admission to 70 seats, while in the PhD programme 13 seats will be offered. The AILET LLM test will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which will be framed from the following topics.
The PhD admission process of NLUD will be a two-stage selection process. It will include the entrance test (to be conducted today) followed by the evaluation of research proposals and interview/ viva-voce.
NLU Delhi is the only national law university that is not participating in CLAT 2021 admission process which is a common entrance test for all remaining 22 NLUs. Meanwhile, for CLAT candidates, the NLU Consortium has released the CLAT result and started the counselling process. The first seat allotment in CLAT 2021 will be released on August 1 at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
