NEW DELHI: National Law University Delhi, or NLUD, keeping in view the rising number of COVID-19 cases, has decided to conduct the All India Law Entrance Test, or AILET 2020, as a remote-proctored test (RPT).
The test is scheduled for August 18. Applicants can write them at home though they will be also invigilated.
The university issued a detailed letter explaining how the test will be organised and how the students can prepare to appear for them without any hiccups.
It is the “most safe and sound option left”, says the document.
Same format
AILET 2020's remote-proctoring mode follow the same format as the conventional tests of previous years. The 90-minute test will include 100 to 150 questions.
For students who do not already have devices and net access, the university suggests that they should identify cyber cafes, preferably those in the district headquarters.
If students still have questions about AILET 2020 in RPT, they may contact the university at admission@nludelhi.ac.in or call at 9899920124, between 10 am and 5 pm.
The university has also allowed withdrawal from AILET 2020 after it had to revise its reservation policy due to a Delhi High Court judgment.
