NLU Delhi holds induction programme in the presence of Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar

Dhankar was chief guest at the induction of the first batch of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters and LLM in IP Law and Management programme.
NEW DELHI : The National Law University (NLU) held student induction ceremony in the presence of the Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar. The programme, Deeksharambh, was held for students of the inaugural batch of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters and Masters of Laws (LLM) in IP Law and Management, on Friday, August 16.
The NLU statement says. “The day was truly special, starting with the plantation of a sapling by our esteemed guest, Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji. This act symbolised our commitment to growth and a sustainable future.”
Dhankar then inaugurated NLU Delhi’s new amphitheatre, where students will gather for academic and cultural activities. “This new space represents our dedication to providing the best environment for our students,” NLU Delhi said in a statement.

NLU Delhi induction ceremony
The batch of students at NLU were welcomed by the vice-chancellor, GS Bajpai, registrar Ruhi Paul, and other NLU faculty members, says the statement.
“We were also honored by the presence of Himani Pande, additional secretary, DPIIT, ministry of commerce and industry, VK Ahuja, director, Indian Law Institute, who contributed to the significance of the occasion,” as per the NLU statement.
Bajpai delivered a welcome speech for students. “The highlight of the day was the motivating address by honorable vice-president Jagdeep Dhankhar. His words left everyone inspired and ready to embark on this exciting academic journey,” the statement says.
