No change in JEE Main, CUET UG, NEET UG exam dates amid Lok Sabha elections: Report

Register NowNEW DELHI: Various entrance exams including JEE (Main), NEET UG, and CUET UG will be administered during the voting season for Lok Sabha general elections 2024. As soon as the EC announced the dates, National Testing Agency said that that there would be no changes in the examination schedule, TOI reported.
The JEE Main Session 2 exam 2024 is scheduled from April 4 to 15. NTA will issue the JEE Main 2024 session 2 admit card on April 1, with the exam city intimation slip available by the last week of March. As per the reports, the JEE Main session 2 exam falls outside the election schedule and so the dates are not likely to be changed.
Earlier, the JEE Main 2024 session 1 was conducted from January 24 to February 1 and the results were announced on February 12.

NEET UG 2024 on May 5
NEET UG exam 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on May 5 at various exam centres across the country. The NEET UG 2024 has recorded over 25 lakh registrations for the first time this year. NTA has also identified 14 foreign cities for conducting NEET UG 2024.
NTA director general Subodh Kumar Singh said to TOI, "NEET UG the entrance test for medical, dental and allied health courses, will be conducted as scheduled as there is no voting on May 5."
CUET UG final call will be taken after registration deadline
Using a hybrid format, the NTA has scheduled the CUET UG 2024 exam from May 15 to May 31, 2024. The CUET UG registration is underway, NTA is not changing the exam window, but will take a call on the exact dates later. "A final call will be taken after the registration is over," Singh added.
The number of domain subjects has been expanded to 29, with choices reduced to six for smoother examination and evaluation processes. The exam serves as a doorway for admission to various undergraduate programmes offered by central universities, including Hyderabad University, Delhi University, and Banaras Hindu University.
