NEW DELHI: North Eastern Railway (NER) has invited applications for the recruitment of various apprentice posts. Interested candidates can apply for North Eastern Railway apprentice recruitment 2024 through the official website, ner.indianrailways.gov.in. The NER recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 1,104 apprentice vacancies in the department.
The North Eastern Railway apprentice registration 2024 process commenced on June 12. Candidates will be able to fill the North Eastern Railway apprentice application form till July 11, 2024.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit, which is compiled by averaging the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (with at least 50% aggregate) and the ITI examination, giving equal weight to each.

North Eastern Railway apprentice eligibility criteria
Candidates must have completed Class 10 with at least 50% marks and hold an ITI in the specified trade by the notification date, June 12, 2024. Apart from this, candidates should be between 15 and 24 years old as of June 12, 2024.
However, for SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is extended by 5 years, for OBC candidates, it is extended by 3 years, and Divyang candidates will be given age relaxation of 10 years.
