NTA to announce allotment of JEE Main 2019 shift and exam date on October 5

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 4: The exam conducting body, NTA will announce the shifts and exam dates allotted to candidates of JEE Main 2019 for January attempt on October 5. This facility will only be for those candidates who have applied for the national level engineering entrance exam.
There was no slot booking facility as NTA has decided to allot the exam centre, date and shift to JEE Main 2019 candidates on random basis. However, the exact city for Paper 1 & 2 will be announced on October 21.
Candidates will be able to check their allotted shift and exam date by logging in using their JEE Main credentials.
JEE Main 2019 will be conducted on January 6, 12, 13, 19 & 20 as the exam is scheduled to be organised only on weekends.
Paper 1 of JEE Main 2019 will be in two shifts; first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 will be in one shift only.
For those candidates who have made mistakes in their JEE Main 2019 application form, the correction window for them will open from October 8 onwards. The changes or corrections can be made till October 14.
