NTA Announces JEE Main paper-II details; Maths & Aptitude CBT and Drawing paper offline

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 31: National Testing Authority (NTA) has announced the examination details for JEE Main paper-II. According to the latest notification released by the authorities, JEE Main paper-II which is conducted for B.Arch admissions will be held as a computer based test (CBT) for the Mathematics and Aptitude section while the drawing section will be conducted as a pen and paper test (offline). Where as, the paper-I of JEE Main for the B.Tech admissions is a complete computer based test.

JEE Main paper-II is conducted to invite admissions into undergraduate courses of B.Arch and B.Planning into various NITs and GFTIs. The 3 hour long paper will have three sections of Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing. Candidates will be required to attempt the first two sections in CBT mode while an offline(pen and paper based) test will be held for the drawing section.

The paper-II of JEE Main will be held only in one shift while paper-I will be conducted in two shifts per day: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. JEE Main 2019 will be conducted twice by NTA. In January the paper will be held from January 6 to January 20 for which the result will be announced on January 31. Eligible candidates should complete the online application process before the deadline.

Candidates wishing to appear for JEE Main 2019 can register online from September 1. The deadline for registrations for the same is September 30 while the payment can be completed till October 1, 2018. The online application process includes registration, filling up the application form, uploading the documents and examination fee payment. The registrations for the practise centres for JEE Main mock tests will also start on September 1.
