NTA CUET UG 2026 registration deadline today; CBT exam from May 11 to 31

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026) today, February 4. Candidates can submit their CUET UG 2026 registration form on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will close the CUET UG registration 2026 fee payment window on February 7.

As per the schedule, the CUET UG 2026 exam will be held from May 11 to 31 at various centres across India and in 15 cities outside the country.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent exam, or who are appearing in the board exams in 2026, are eligible to appear for the CUET UG 2026. Also, there is no age limit to fill the CUET UG registration form.

CUET UG Registration Fee 2026

To complete the CUET UG 2026 registration, candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for the General category, Rs 900 for OBC-NCL and EWS, Rs 800 for SC, ST, PwD, and third gender candidates, and Rs 4,500 for exam centres outside India.

For each additional subject, the CUET UG fee is Rs 400 for General, Rs 375 for OBC-NCL and EWS, Rs 350 for SC, ST, PwD, PwBD, and third gender candidates, and Rs 1,800 for centres outside India.

After the registration closes, the testing agency will open the CUET UG correction window 2026 on February 9. Candidates can edit their submitted CUET UG forms by February 11.

Earlier, the CUET UG 2026 registration last date was extended from January 30 to February 4. The CUET UG entrance exam will be conducted for admission to bachelor’s programmes in 48 central universities and other participating universities across the country.

CUET UG 2026: Check Aadhaar, UDID before registration

Earlier, NTA asked candidates to update their Aadhaar, UDID card, and category certificate to fill out the CUET UG 2026 application. NTA will use Aadhaar authentication to get candidates’ date of birth, gender, and address from the UDID certificate, along with other details.

However, since parents’ or guardians’ names are not recorded in Aadhaar, candidates will need to enter these details separately in the CUET UG 2026 registration form, as per the NTA notice.
