NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET 2023) application form submission window today, April 5. Those who are interested in taking admission postgraduate (PG) programmes in Biotechnology and allied areas in participating institutes will have to register on the official website, dbt.nta.ac.in or through nta.ac.in.
General category applicants will have to pay Rs 1,200 if registering for GAT-B or BET 2023 exams and those belonging to SC, ST, PwD will have to pay Rs 600. In case a candidate wishes to appear for both the exams, then they will have to pay double the registration fee.
The NTA recently extended the GAT-B 2023 application form date. As per the revised schedule, the GAT-B 2023 correction window will begin from April 8 and will be closed on April 9.
The GAT-B exam will be held on April 23 in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of 3 hours.GAT-B exam 2023 will be held in the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM while BET 2023 exam will be conducted in the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.
How to fill GAT-B 2023 application form
Here’s the step by step process to fill in the GAT-B, BET 2023 application form online.
Step 1 - Visit the official website, dbt.nta.ac.in.
Step 2 - Click on the ‘Online Registration’ and enter valid email ID and mobile number and note down system generated application number.
Step 3 - Complete the registration form by adding personal and academic details.
Step 4 - Upload scanned images of a recent photograph in jpg/ jpeg file format (size 10Kb-200Kb) either in colour or black and white with 80% face visible including; candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb); PwD certificate (file size 50 kb-300 kb); category certificate (file size 50 kb-300 kb); Date of Birth certificate (file size 50 kb-300 kb); certificate for appearing or result awaiting candidates (file size 50 kb-300 kb).
Step 5 - Pay application fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI and keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
