NTA issues joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 city slip at csirnet.nta.nic.in; exam on July 17, 18

The NTA will conduct the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2026 on July 17 and 18 in single and dual shifts.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the CSIR UGC NET June 2026 city slip on its official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will have to enter their login details such as application number and password to access the CSIR UGC NET June city intimation slip.
The NTA will conduct the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2026 on July 17 and 18.
The computer-based Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June 2026 exam will be held to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as assistant professor, appointment as assistant professor and admission to PhD and PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.

Joint CSIR UGC NET 2026 Exam Time Table
The CSIR UGC NET examination for Life Sciences and Mathematical Sciences subjects will be held on July 17 in a single shift from 9 am to 12 noon. The Physical Sciences exam will be held in the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

"Advance Intimation Slip informing the candidates of the allotment of the exam city as per above schedule has been hosted on the website https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/. The Candidates are advised to check/download the same using their Application No. and Password from the website of NTA https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/," as per the official notification.
The NTA has informed candidates that the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 city slip is not the admit card for the examination.
"This is only an Advance Intimation of the Exam City Allotted where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the Candidates. The Admit Card of Examination will be issued separately," it said.
