Candidates can download their hall ticket using their application number and password.
NTA will hold the JEE Main 2026 Jan 28 BE and BTech exam in two shifts, morning from 9 am to noon, and afternoon from 3 pm to 12. JEE Main 2026 Jan 29 BArch and BPlanning will be held from 9 am to noon, and for both BArch and BPlanning from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
As per NTA advisory , candidates must ensure they reach the exam centre atleast one hour before the gate closes, or else entry will not be permitted after the gate closing time. The entry and closing time for morning and evening shifts will be 7-8:30 am and 1 to 2:30 pm, respectively.

JEE Main 2026 session 1
All students appearing for the exam are required to ensure that the QR code and barcode are clearly visible on the JEE hall ticket. Also, candidates should make sure that their photo ID is uploaded online form and also mentioned on the admit card for verification purposes.
The testing agency has asked candidates who did not register using Aadhaar verification to report at least one hour before the gate closing time. Those leaving the exam hall for a bio-break or toilet visit will be required to undergo mandatory frisking and biometric verification again before re-entering, as per exam guidelines.
NTA has already conducted the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exams from January 21 to 24 in two shifts across several cities in the country. Candidates can check their answers or calculate their expected scores using the unofficial answer key and memory based question with solutions provided by subject experts and students, respectively.
