NTA opens CUET UG 2026 subject correction window; make changes by April 19

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 application window for registered students to update their selected subjects. Candidates can access the CUET UG 2026 subject correction window through the official website at nta.ac.in and cuet.nta.nic.in.

The CUET UG 2026 login details to access the subject correction window includes application number and password.

The CUET UG 2026 subject correction facility to modify the earlier selected subjects will be opened until April 19 for registered candidates. The move by the NTA was motivated after it received several requests from candidates applied for CUET UG 2026 to make changes in their opted subjects.

“Candidates are advised to carefully review and ensure the correctness of their subjects to be finalized during this period, as this constitutes a special extended opportunity,” NTA said in an official notification.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Date

The computer-based CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted from May 11 to 31 in multiple shifts.

Over 280 higher educational institutions, including Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will accept CUET UG 2026 score for admission to its undergraduate courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The NTA opened the CUET UG 2026 registration from January 3 to 30 for admission to undergraduate programmes at private, state, and central universities across the country.

The CUET UG correction window 2026 was hosted from February 23 to 26 for registered candidates.

CUET UG 2026: How to edit subject window

Candidates follow the steps given below to edit their CUET UG 2026 subjects.

• Go to the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click on the login tab.
• A new window will open.
• Enter login credentials - application number and password.
• Click on the “Correction in Test Paper” option.
• Edit subjects as per your preference.
• Press the submit button.

As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given five marks for each correct response, whereas one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no marks cut for unanswered questions.
