Candidates can challenge the provisional answer keys of paper 1, 2 by tomorrow at exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys and recorded responses for the second phase of patents and designs examiner mains paper 1 and 2. Candidates who appeared for the exams can check and challenge the answer keys by visiting the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT. The last date to challenge the answer keys is February 13.
NTA conducted the phase 2 exam for the post of examiner of patents and designs in 107 centres located in 71 cities throughout the country. While paper 1 was conducted from January 25 to February 5 in shift 1, paper 2 was held on the same dates in the second shift.
“The Provisional Answer Keys for the Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II) i.e. Phase 2 for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs along with the question papers with recorded responses have been uploaded on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT/ for candidates to challenge,” NTA said in an official notice.
In order to raise objections against the answer key, students will have to pay Rs 200 per question challenged which will be non-refundable fee. The fee payment can be done through debit card, credit card, or net banking till 11:30 pm on February 13.
The testing agency said that it will not accept challenges done by candidates without a fee receipt. About checking of the challenges and final answer key, NTA said said that a panel of the subject experts will verify the challenges made by the candidates. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly for all candidates. Based on the revised final answer key, the result will be prepared and declared. “No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The Key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final,” it added.
