NTET 2024 registration deadline extended by October 22; application fee, exam cities

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the National Teacher Eligibility Test (NTET) 2024. As per the official notice, candidates can now fill out the NTET 2024 application form till October 22 through the official website on exams.nta.ac.in.
As per the revised schedule, the NTA will now open the application correction window to make changes in the NTET 2024 application form from October 24, 2024, to October 25, 2024.
Earlier, the last date to fill out the application form was October 14 and the correction window was scheduled to open from October 16 to October 17, 2024. To register for the NTET 2024, candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password.
NTET 2024 application fee
Candidates from the general category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 4,000 to register for the NTET 2024. For the general-economically weaker section and other backward class-non-creamy layer candidates, the application fee is Rs 3,500.
For scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with disabilities (PwD), and third-gender candidates will have to pay Rs 3,000 to register for the NTET 2024. The last date to make payment for NTET 2024 has also been extended from October 15 to October 23.
