NTSE exam 2021-22 postponed for stage 1 and 2; New dates soon

NCERT has postponed the NTSE stage 1 and stage 2 examination 2021-22. New dates for stage 1 and 2 will be announced soon.
NEW DELHI: National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has postponed the NTSE stage 1 and 2 exams 2021-22. The revised schedule for National Talent Search Examination 2021-22 will be released soon by NCERT.

The official notification released by NCERT reads, ‘It is for the information of all concern that the scheduled Stage-I and Stage-II examination of National Talent Search Examination-2021-22, which was placed in the public domain on December 2, 2021, is postponed due to administrative reasons. Fresh schedule will be intimated accordingly in due course of time.’
Most of the states have released the postponement notification for NTSE 2021-22 examinations. The NTSE stage 1 exams in Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands were scheduled to be conducted on January 15, 2022, while the stage 1 examination of other states and Union territories were scheduled for January 16, 2022. The NTSE stage 2 examination which is postponed now, was scheduled to be conducted on June 12, 2022.
NTSE stage 1 exam is conducted by the respective states. Students who successfully qualify the stage 1 examination will be eligible for stage 2 exam . The NTSE stage 2 examination is the national level examination, conducted by NCERT. The students selected in stage 2 will be eligible for the NTSE scholarship.
