NEW DELHI: Odisha Police State Selection Board (OPSSB) has extended the registration deadline for the Odisha police constable recruitment exam 2024. Eligible candidates can now fill out the application form for the recruitment exam by October 30 through the official website at odishapolice.gov.in.
“In view of the Puja vacations, the last date of filling up of online applications for the post of Sepoys / Constables in Battalions in respect of Indicative Advertisement No.01/SSB, dated 14.09.2024 & Detailed Advertisement No.02 / SSB dated 22.09.2024 is hereby extended to 30th Oct.2024 to facilitate the candidates for submission of the applications,” the official notice read.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,360 Odisha Police Constable vacancies. The board informed that the edit correction window for all candidates will be opened after the last date for submitting online applications. This will be announced in due course on the Odisha Police website and the State Selection Board portal.
The previous deadline to apply for the Odisha police constable 2024 recruitment exam was October 13, with the application correction window scheduled to be open from October 16 to October 18.

Candidates can check the list of original documents to be submitted during verification for the post of sepoys/constables in battalions below:
Downloaded copy of admission and intimation letter for certificate verification
Printout of the online application form, legibly signed by the candidate
Two recent passport-size colour photographs (same as uploaded during the online application)
Class 10 pass certificate as proof of educational qualification and age
Candidates with qualifications from boards/councils/institutions outside Odisha must provide:
Proof of equivalence from a recognised board/council/university in Odisha
Affiliation of their institution to a recognised board/council/university
Pass certificate in Odia language
Updated and valid caste certificate (if applicable)
Certificate/document for ex-servicemen status with an undertaking (as per annexure-B) (if applicable)
Aadhaar card issued by a government authority
NOC for candidates working in government service (if applicable)
Legal documents for candidates with more than one spouse (if applicable)
NCC certificate if claiming weightage marks (if applicable)
Driving licence if claiming weightage marks for driving proficiency (if applicable)
