Odisha begins SAMS UG admissions 2026 for BBA, BCA; apply by June 10

SAMS Odisha UG Admissions 2026: Candidates can select any one of the three course options, a single major with two minors, a double major, or three minors.
The Higher Education Department of Odisha has started registration for the SAMS Odisha UG admissions 2026. Eligible candidates can apply for various undergraduate programmes such as BBA, BCA through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal at samsodisha.gov.in.
The SAMS portal for admission to UG programmes at state public universities, +3 degree colleges, Sanskrit (Shastri) institutions, will be open until June 10, up to 10:45 pm.
The Odisha higher education department will conduct three rounds of counselling for admission to BBA, BCA, Integrated MBA, Integrated MCA and 5 years Integrated BA (LLB) programmes.

While filling the Common Application Form (CAF), applicants can choose their course type based on the availability at their preferred institutions. The courses include single major with two Minors, double major, or three minors.
Candidates will be admitted only for the major 1 subjects on the basis of their preferred choices, according to the official notice.
“The seat allotment shall be made as per the opted Major subject in the case of Single Major with two Minors, Major-I in the case of Double Major and General in Three Minors. Allocation of remaining subjects/minors shall be carried out subsequently at the HEI level based on the student's preference and counselling process,” it said.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for the SAMS Odisha UG admissions.
- Go to the official website at samsodisha.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on degree +3 admission section.
- Enter your mobile number and email ID.
- Fill all the academic and personal details.
- Upload required documents and pay the application fee.
- Press the submit button and download the confirmation page.
Those opting for minor subjects, multi-disciplinary courses (MDC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), and Value Added Courses (VAC), other than the major subjects, the admission will be done by the admitted HEIs through a counselling process on merit basis and subject to availability of seats.
